2-Way Shuttle (Semi-Auto) is a warehouse automation device designed to move in two directions — forward and backward — along a storage lane to handle pallets or goods. It is called semi-automatic because, while the shuttle itself performs loading and unloading automatically within a lane, a forklift or stacker crane is required to place or retrieve the shuttle at different lanes or levels.
This system improves efficiency and safety compared to manual handling by reducing forklift movement inside storage racks.
